camp sparta academy
classes
Our classes meet three days a week. As a full drop-off program, we provide structure for students and flexibility for parents.
Our Educational Philosophy
At Camp Sparta Academy, we believe education is a joyful journey of discovery. By weaving a vibrant Christian worldview into every class, we bring learning to life and create an environment where students thrive through experiential learning. Our classrooms are instructor-led yet student-centered, replacing traditional lectures with dynamic, project-based exploration.
Biblical Worldview
We anchor classes in Christianity, helping students see God's hand in science, history, and the arts.
Hands-On Learning
Education is active. We move beyond textbooks with experiments, building projects, and outdoor exploration.
strong Community
Building a culture of mutual growth where we push each other to be better, as iron sharpens iron.
Character Growth
Our ultimate goal is heart transformation, cultivating virtues that will last a lifetime.

K-8th Grade
Creative hands
This hands-on class explores diverse art forms, from traditional art projects like painting to baking, candle making and wood carving. Through multi-sensory activities, younger students build fine motor skills and creative confidence, while older students refine their technical skills and develop independent mastery of each craft.
K-8th Grade
music & orchestra
Students in lower elementary will explore musical fundamentals through various hands-on methods, including the use of Boomwhackers. Students in upper elementary will learn to play the violin, viola, cello, and/or bass. The course will focus on foundational skills, ensemble playing, and musical literacy.
K-8th Grade
Physical education
Students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. They will engage in a variety of physical activities that promote cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility while fostering a strong sense of sportsmanship and teamwork through sports and collaborative games.
K-8th Grade
science
This hands-on science class is designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking, focusing on experiential learning rather than just memorizing facts. Students will engage in weekly experiments, nature studies, and/or STEM-based projects that bring scientific principles to life, making abstract concepts concrete.
K-8th Grade
history
Students move beyond textbooks to "do" history through tactile projects, simulations, and artifact analysis. By trading memorization for hands-on investigation, learners become "history detectives," making the past tangible while building sharp critical thinking skills
